• NFC (Near Field Communication): We access your device's NFC hardware to read and write text data onto physical NFC tags.
• Speech Data: Voice inputs are processed using your device's built-in speech recognition services (e.g., Google Speech Services) to convert audio to text.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for the functionality of the app:

• To Create Labels: Your voice input is converted to text so it can be written onto an NFC tag.
• To Identify Objects: When you scan a tag, the app reads the text stored on that specific physical tag to announce it to you.

3. Data Storage and Retention

• Local Storage: All data generated by Talking Tags (such as tag text or audio notes) is stored locally on your device or physically on the NFC tags themselves.
• No Cloud Sync: We do not upload your personal data, voice recordings, or tag contents to any external servers or cloud storage.
• Third-Party Processing: Voice-to-text conversion is handled by the operating system's default speech recognition engine. Please refer to your device provider's (e.g., Google) privacy policy regarding how they handle transient voice data for recognition purposes.

4. Internet Access

The app has no permission to access Internet. However, the device built-in voice recognition may use Internet to process your voice and convert them to text.
